Parsons is seeking a Construction Manager to perform Facility Condition Assessments (FCI) throughout the US and Internationally. The selected candidate will assure conformance to the intent of the FCI program, industry design standards, and applicable mechanical and electrical codes.
In this capacity, you will perform FCI inspections; gather data on building systems and equipment enter data into client’s management systems and research data for equipment or systems. You may interface with technical peers, clients, third-party design professionals, construction contractors, and other stakeholders.
Assists the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study. Assists in determining the technical skills and staff hours required for successful completion of the project.
Identifies mechanical and electrical systems equipment and evaluates the condition of that equipment. Recommends O&M protocols when requested.
Develops operation and maintenance plans; develops standard operating procedures; prepares O & M manuals and may conduct on-site training of personnel.
Conducts surveys, studies, and site investigations.
Performs reliability, availability, maintenance (RAM) and safety analyses.
Maintains affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies.
Helps determine budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule. May assist with other administrative and technical duties.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
4-year degree in construction-related field (or equivalent construction-related work experience), as well as 15 to 20 years of experience in field construction is required. Experience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred.

Requires a comprehensive knowledge of construction-related processes, as well as a thorough knowledge of industry practices. Proven leadership and management capability is also required, as well as good written and oral communications skills.
